Dinner Menu:

These vary from day to day and a sample is given below:-

Parsnip soup

Breakfast Menu:

 

From the side table:

Cereals, chilled yoghurts, fresh & dried fruits, fruit juices, home-blended muesli

Scottish porridge:

Locally milled pinhead oat porridge made overnight in the traditional manner

Our fish dishes:

Borders smoked salmon served with fluffy scrambled egg on toast or bagel, or smoked Scottish haddock & poached egg

Scottish Pancakes:

Traditional pancakes with a choice of fillings:
Borders smoked salmon & cream cheese, or Ayrshire bacon & either maple syrup or fried egg

Scottish Breakfast:

All or a selection of the following:
Ayrshire Bacon, Scottish Championship pork sausage, sliced sausage, black pudding, potato cake, tomato, mushrooms & an egg or eggs of your choice: fried, scrambled, poached, or boiled

Continental Breakfast:

Selection of cold meats & cheeses

Vegetarian Options:

Fried potato scones, hash browns, vine-ripe tomatoes, baby tomatoes, button mushrooms, baked beans

The Bread Basket:

Fresh or toasted whole meal or white breads
Selection of local or home-made preserves & Borders honey
